With the vision to provide a challenging learning environment in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, North Idaho STEM Charter Academy is set up to make students successful citizens - help them discover themselves, thus maximize their potential through relevant and rigorous project-based approach to STEM. Students are trained to develop strong work ethic and higher-level critical thinking skills required to tackle national and global challenges.
The aim of North Idaho STEM Charter Academy is to train students for higher education and jobs in an increasingly technical economy by enhancing students' interest in science, engineering and math through technology which requires students to imbibe spirits of collaboration, teamwork, time and task management as well as presentation skills therefore making them productive and technology-capable students.
The school provides a safe, positive and organized environment with clearly defined behavior expectations thus providing the setting for knowledge acquisition and application of current technology that prepares students for tomorrow's challenges. Believing that effective character education is critical in order to create safe, caring and successful learning that enhances academic development, North Idaho STEM Charter Academy empowers students, through sound educational approach, to stretch their interests into previously unidentified areas.
